UPDATE from April 4, 2022
Dear students, dear parents,
Since there are no clear access regulations for children and young people in sports in the state of Vienna , we are following the current measures of Viennese educational institutions. This means: Children and young people who undergo a PCR test once a week at school are allowed to attend our YU Taekwondo schools daily. This will be handled the same way as at your child’s school; no additional testing is necessary.
As always, if there are any details or changes, you will be informed here.
We wish you continued enjoyment in your training!
Grandmaster Dr. Andreas Held and the YU Taekwondo Team
UPDATE from February 3, 2022
Dear students and parents,
due to the latest changes to the coronavirus protection measures, you can come to training starting Saturday, February 19, with a 3G certificate (vaccinated/recovered/tested). In Vienna, the 2G rule (vaccinated or recovered) will continue to apply until March 4. Please show your certificate to the trainer and be sure to check in at the bar with your membership card.
We hope you enjoy your training and will keep you updated here with further updates.

UPDATE from December 9, 2021
Dear students and parents,
starting Monday, December 13, 2021, all doors will be open again! Entry is subject to proof of 2G (vaccinated or recovered). For children and young people up to the age of 15, the Ninja Pass serves as proof of 2G (vaccinated or recovered). Please wear a mask upon entry and be sure to check in at the counter with your membership card. Masks and social distancing are not required during exercise.
For some people, access is not possible due to the 2G rule for various reasons. Despite restrictions imposed by the federal government, we want to give all members the opportunity to participate in our training. Therefore, we will continue to offer outdoor training at various locations – albeit in a scaled-down format. More information will follow shortly under the „Schedules“ section.
Your Sabomnim Grandmaster Dr. Andreas Held and the YU Taekwondo Team

UPDATE from 7.11.2021
Dear students,
Due to the current tightening of restrictions by the Federal Government, new protective measures will come into force on Monday, November 8th:
Access to all YU Taekwondo schools only with a 2G proof -> VACCINATED or RECOVERED.
Children and adolescents
For school-age children aged 6 and over in Vienna, the following applies: If all three tests scheduled for the respective school week have been carried out (1x rapid antigen test and 2x PCR tests), the Ninja Pass is valid as 2G proof for the entire week, regardless of the validity period of the individual tests. If the respective test series for the Ninja Pass is not complete, the respective tests are valid individually (48-hour antigen rapid test and 72-hour PCR test). For children and adolescents between 12 and 15 years of age (school-age), the 2.5G rule applies (vaccinated, recovered, PCR tested). This means that the Ninja Pass is valid during the week, but not over the entire weekend. For this age group, PCR tests are valid for 48 hours. After completing the ninth school year, adolescents, like adults, require 2G proof.
Transitional period until December 6, 2021: Until then, entry is also possible with a first vaccination and an additional PCR test.
Source: Ministry of Social Affairs / Sport Austria
We have developed a new way to make the 2G rule simpler and more straightforward for YOU and our trainers:
Simply send us your valid vaccination certificate or your recovery certificate (with QR code) and we will store it in your database in our access software.
This means you don’t have to show your certificates every time you check in. Instead, they’re stored with us, and the trainer can see immediately that you have a certificate. In the event of an inspection, we can also immediately forward the information to the authorities.
You can now send us the certificates by email to covid@yu-taekwondo.at .
Write: “I hereby grant permission to store the attached certificates internally.”
UPDATE from 13.9.2021
Dear students,
Due to current measures, registration via the „MySports“ app is no longer necessary. According to the Federal Ministry, there is no longer a participant limit for practicing sports in the dojang. Contact tracing is carried out via check-in at the counter. Proof of a negative COVID-19 test is, of course, still required (for children in Vienna aged 6 and over).

Your YOUNG-UNG Taekwondo Team
Dear students, dear parents, as of September 21, 2020
Especially in times of the corona crisis, in which the immune system is strengthened through sport and exercise and is more important than ever, we would like to draw your attention to the current protective measures and ask you to adhere to these rules of conduct with immediate effect:
1. Only enter the YOUNG-UNG Taekwondo Dojang with a face mask.
2. Disinfect your hands at the counter.
3. Check in.
4. Wear a face mask when going to the locker room
. 5. From the locker room, go directly to the training area and onto the marking points (please bring your face mask with you as a precaution for any close-quarters exercises).
6. Maintain a distance of 1.5 meters from your fellow trainees during training, unless they are family members or you do not live in the same household.
7. Wearing a mask is optional during training at the marking point, but it is not mandatory.

The current regulation from the Ministry of Health, dated September 21, 2020, applies to the sports sector: Several groups of 10 people each can train in parallel in a sports facility, provided that mixing of the groups can be ruled out. A distance of 1 meter* from training partners must be maintained. Exempt from the maximum number of participants are those persons who are required to conduct the event (trainers and staff). Source: Federal Ministry .
*To increase your safety , we are increasing the distance during training to 1.5 meters and additionally marking the training area with visible dots. All rooms, work surfaces, doorknobs, light switches, changing rooms, equipment, restrooms, and training areas are regularly cleaned and disinfected. Each dojang is equipped with sufficient hand sanitizer dispensers. We also urge you to practice appropriate hand hygiene. We ask you to refrain from shaking hands and to greet each other/us with a warm smile or an Asian bow.
All hygiene and safety measures are regularly adapted to the current requirements of the Federal Ministry.
The exams will take place as planned (a maximum of 50 participants are permitted per event within the legally compliant framework, excluding the coaching staff and staff). Spectators are only permitted outside the dojang. In exceptional cases, one parent may attend (wearing a face mask in the waiting area). Please observe the previously announced safety rules and the instructions of the coaching staff.
At YOUNG-UNG Taekwondo, your health is very important. In consultation with the Federal Ministry, we have a comprehensive safety concept specifically tailored to our schools. Furthermore, we are in close contact with the Ministry of Health and the relevant authorities.
We are doing our best to implement all measures in the best possible way and are here to help you with any questions!
We are also pleased to announce that we have a comprehensive prevention plan and three certified COVID-19 protection officers in place within our company. YOUNG-UNG Taekwondo founder and Grandmaster Dr. Andreas Held, our press officer and marketing director Astrid Rauch, and project manager Stefan Hasenauer are taking care of matters in this area.
